Miss Maria's Classroom: Online Learning for Grades K-12

Hello! Welcome to Miss Maria's Online Classroom. I'm Miss Maria and, on this platform, visitors can find tutoring help and educational resources for parents and students (K through 12) in a way I hope is more immediate and accessible.

I encourage parents and students (under parental supervision) to contact me using the Contact page with any questions regarding their academic needs (e.g. class or homework assignments, essays, school projects, etc.) and/or supplemental educational resources. As Miss Maria's Online Classroom grows, I hope to provide additional features to better meet the needs of my learning community!

Check out the Homework Help page for instant help and interaction during daytime hours (between 10:00am - 5:30pm PST)

If you would like to support me, please visit my Patreon page and donate whatever you can! Due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak, I am currently out of work. I would be very grateful for your financial support!

Academic Disciplines (Subjects)

An Academic Discipline is any subdivision of knowlege. In grade school learning, we call these academic disciplines Subjects. The number of subjects students learn can be long and varied, but here I intend to make things simple. Subjects most likely encoutnered as "learning blocks" / "segments" (or "periods", for middle school and high school) are listed below (and in no particular order):

-Merriam-Webster Dictionary

Explore the Grade and Subject pages to find the right resources that align with your educational/academic needs. The "Grade" page is a directory based on grade level while the "Subject" page is a directory based on subject. Additional resources based on behavioral and exceptional learning needs are pending.

Online Resources and One-on-One Interaction

A "one stop shop" for website resources and online tools will help students who are otherwise limited by a lack of physical access to academic tools and information. As Miss Maria's Classroom continues to grow, more resources such as downloadable content will be made available. Miss Maria's Classroom is a place where students and parents can find supplemental resources and educational advocacy.

Check out the Homework Help page to use an interactive workstation and to communicate with me more directly during study. Additional features will be added to ensure greater efficiency in one-on-one interactions.
